#12606 App doesn’t connect to Cu

Hi, I have just now purchased the Smartrace app, unfortunately it can't connect to the CU. When starting the app, the blue light on the appconnect stop blinking, but the scanning message still there. Additional info, I can't update the CU with the Carrera app, it is connecting, but when clicking on to update, nothing happens. Do you have any idea how can I fix this?

Hey Csaba,

Please make sure to check [this entry][1] from the SmartRace manual.

If you're firmware version is too low, there is unfortunately no way to get around updating it. Many users have reported that it took them several tries until it worked. If it won't work for you, you could either try doing the update using an iOS device (if available) or to unplug the CU from the track and try the update with only the CU connected to power.

My aftermarket motors for my 124 scale cars Has a problem with SmartRace app. When the car runs out of fuel after crossing the start/finish line It speeds up to full speed and and SmartRace still shows it's empty. It does fix it self when you actually re-enter the pit lane and and to actually start to fill up again, then speed will go back to normal until you run out of fuel again... smh. What could be causing this? This is on all the cars with the aftermarket motors. Stock motors work fine. Also I have this error now showing up in the pit lane penalties configuration. See file
