Is it possible to have a setting to enable Car Classes similar to Le Mans? There can be 4 different types of car classes to select and assign to a driver and then there could also be a class icon for each driver on the driver display screen.

But this would be assigned to the car, not the driver, right?

I was actually thinking it can be assigned to the driver. Sometimes I race with Adults and Kids simultaneously, and the kids obviously aren't as good as the adults. So all of the kids would get assigned the "GTEAm" class and all the adults would get the "GTEpro". And on the driver screen we could see who is in the "GTEpro" class and who is in the "GTEAm" class.

Okay, I see. It makes sense to me, but wouldn't it be a bit confusing? I think in RL these classes are not attached to the drivers, but to the teams. Do you think it would make sense to create custom classes for this? Like 

SMAm = Amateurs, e.g. children
SMPro = More advanced drivers
SMElite = Professional drivers

Or something like this?

Yes, I think creating custom classes to teams would work.

I just think it would be cool if those classes were shown in the driver screen.

And I guess it would make more sense to put it under teams, maybe the adults drive faster cars and the kids drive slower cars. so all the drivers with the faster cars will have their own class and vice versa.

Hey Jerome,

I'm sorry, but this idea didn't find any supporters. I will drop it for now. That doesn't mean it will never be implemented, but the overall goal for SmartRace is to keep it as simple as possible - especially for newcomers.
