Sometimes pairing a controller looks like it works, but a controller into added to the list. However, when I pair another it skips that spot. So it looks like it maybe paired and reserved the next assignment spot, but it is not highlighted. Also would it be possible to assign the controller color? To each assigned spot?
Can you spot any kind of pattern about when the pairings works and when it does not? If you're having trouble pairing certain controllers or cars, it might help to boot up the SCX manufacturer app from the app store and connect it to your track. It will automatically update controllers and cars with the most recent firmware, which might also fix pairing issues.
You can assign controller colors in main menu > controller colors. :-)
