after purchasing the connect feature there are lap counting issues during races. the race starts, every car gets deteced going by start finish the first time but no laps actually count. jump out to practice and the laprs are detected again. is there any way i can remove the new connect feature as it seems to be the cause

Hey John,

does that happen in every race? Or only under certain circumstances? And does the lap counting work correctly in qualifyings/free practice?

It is not very likely that SmartRace Connect is the reason (and there is no way to "disable" this feature), but I'll investigate this immediately and will keep you posted.

Happens every time, started as soon as the connect feature was installed. Here's a video, timed practice works, flip to a race and it doesn't work, it's even burning through fuel.

I can also change over to my phone and the race runs fine, I haven't updated the phone app with the connect feature

I tried to reproduce the issue to no avail. Could you please create a backup in SmartRace and send it to me? That could be helpful.

Found my problem. In the driving settings I had changed the "when should time races and qualifying end?" To "after the time has run out and all drivers finished their current lap." Which made it not count race laps.. changed it back to "immediately after the time has run out." And it works fine. We don't run qualifying or timed races, only lap races.i like the track to power off after the winner passes and everyone else finishes that lap and that setting seemed correct. Just happened to Change that because the previous race the track stayed on but I think we had a car not finish is why. But thought while I'm in here I should upgrade to the connect feature, which works awesome by the way. So all works good again.

thanks a lot for your help and the update! I was finally able to track down the error and fix it and will release an update ASAP.
