I'm not for sure if this is available already, or not?

What I would like to see is after assigning cars to a race, and wanting to make adjustments to speed / brakes / fuel tank size, is it possible to store these adjustments by car assignment so that these settings can be recalled / reloaded?

Said another way, when making adjustments to these parameters, you cannot see where they are currently set for the car assignment. What I see now are the parameter settings for the last car I changed settings.

Hey Andrew,

the last known car settings (which were adjusted via SmartRace, not the CU) are always found in the car database (see screenshot). Does that help?

Yes, I understand. That does help.

What I'm after is, why can't the assigned cars settings populate in the car settings screen vs. having to go back and forth between the car settings screen and the actual car menus?

Well, if you'd like to quick-apply the settings from the car database, you don't even have to go to the car settings screen. Just tap the little button from the main menu (see screenshot) and the settings from the car database will be applied to the assigned cars :-)

Yes, that's a great feature!

Let me explain the "why?" I'm suggesting the change:

Let's say you're trying to equalize cars, because one is faster than the other, or someone wants their brakes / fuel tank size adjusted. In order to do so, you have to be able to see where the settings currently are, which is in the individual car setting screen. You can see what the settings are on this screen, but you can't make the adjustment there...why is this? You have to back out to the holistic car settings screen to make the change...why not do this all on the same screen vs. needing two?

If you can imagine cars mixing in different classes, maybe with different rules (speed settings, has tank size, brake threshold) then adjusting settings for parity can take quite a bit of work going back and forth between screens.

Hope this makes sense :)

Hey Andrew,

especially for you, I added a "load last known settings for the assigned cars" button to the setting dialog (see attached gif). I hope you'll like it. Will be part of the next update :-)
