#13058 Free practice/race is suspended after a few seconds

Once I start the free practice/race the car will stop running after a few seconds then I get a caution notification from the app. At times the app restarts by itself other times I need to restart it. Once restarted the cars will run again then stop after a few seconds. Do you have a solution to my problem. Btw, this is a great app much better than the Carrera app and I hope this problem can be solved.

Are you running SmartRace on iOS >= 11 and do the restarts happen after round about 90 seconds reproducibly? In this case you might be affected by an issue with your AppConnect bluetooth adapter. Please read more about this here: https://www.smartrace.de/en/the-smartrace-manual/trouble-shooting/connection-drops-on-ios-11/

Please let me know if that was the issue.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

What you've described in your email is precisely what has occurred.

Carrera seems to have several issues with IOS 11>= and they are not responsive to customers complaints.

Too bad this is a great app which used to run properly on IOS 10<=.
