The speed is set by the track and practice is at the right speed but 2 seconds Into the race the track puts the cars at max speed and the tuning second on the controller and the personal apps does not work to slow down the cars. They are accelerated significantly

please make sure to change speed and brakes settings only through SmartRace, not through the Control Unit, otherwise SmartRace won't know about it. On the application where is the speed being changed that gets applied automatically after the start of the race? And by control unit u mean the Carrera digital hub that speed is set for each car? The manual isnt clear on this especially since we have weather and damage turned off in our series. What speed should the control unit set to to leave it and give the app enough control. We would stop the race and try to turn the speed all the way down in the main app for each car but they were all at 0 still feeling like they are at 100%
Hm, thats strange. Do you think you could maybe record a video of what is going on and what you're changing without the cars reacting to it as expected? That would be very helpful. Thanks!
Thank you for reaching out.. Since we went back and reset the Carrerra Speed setting and quit attempting to set the speed of the cars through carrera controls the issue has not been reproduced. Thank you for your assistance on this!
