We have noticed that if a car is part way through refuelling and the lap is added, then another racer crashes and starts a red flag, when the red flag is removed, the car in the pits has to restart the fuelling process, this then adds another lap.

This is not just an issue with red flags as far as I can see. This will also happen if the driver just presses the brake button again while still standing in the pits. This way they could add up as many laps as they wish currently.
I don't really see a way to fix that to be honest. There is no way for the app to know if the driver left the pits and entered it again. If the brake button is pressed again, a new pit stop starts, no matter where the car is or if it moved in the meantime.
This is only if app.options.count_laps_in_pitlane is set to "yes" of course.
Am I missing something?
