When weather conditions change from "looks like rain" to "rain" or "looks like clearing up" to "sunny" the suspend race is ignored. The signal is not queued up, but simply ignored.

There is no differense where the suspend command are comming from. Base, chaos button, or SR connect.

Neither does it matter what decoder type is in used.

I suspect that Smartrace can not suspend race while at the same time sending new speed values to the cars.

But can the suspend signal not be queued up so the race stops immediately after updated speed values has been send?

The bug can easily be replicated. Try to stop the race at the same moment that weather conditions causes Smartrace to send new speed values.

This is unfortunately a limitation of the Control Unit which can't be worked around. The CU basically blocks any command while it is blocked through other actions (e.g. writing speed values). Since there is no way for SmartRace to know if the command was accepted or not, it can't be queued either. :-(
