Background track stops functioning for no reason. This has been a problems for over a year for me. Have previously flagged this issue. To resolve the problem and restore sound, I have to go into the settings tab for sounds and hit the "save" button. No other setting has to be touched. This typically restores the background sound.
This seems to keep popping up for some users, I'm still not sure what causes it. I assume it has to do with sending the app to the background temporarily. Is there any other pattern that you were able to observe?
Have not noticed any specific pattern. I will make an extra effort to be more observant for this issue.
Does only the background ambient sound stop and other sounds continue to work (like the wheel gun sound in the pits or the clapping/applause after race finish)?
I cannot confirm 100%, from what I recall it affected the background sounds. Other sounds like Voice still worked.
Das kann ich in der Beta 7.0 bestätigen. Der Backroundsound verschwindet wärend eines Rennens und auch die Ansage 3,2,1 go ist dann weg. Workaround ist aktuell in die Einstellungen zu gehen unter Sound und dann etwas annpassen speichern. Dann läuft alles wieder.
Kannst Du irgendein Muster erkennen, wann der Sound verschwindet? iOS oder Android? Und welche Version jeweils?
Im Rennen nach dem Strafendialog passierte das manchmal. Ich teste das heute nochmal.
Der neue Regensound kam dann auch nicht mehr.

I tested a few situations to see if I could repeat the condition of lost sound. One think I found is that if the IPAD was set for "silent mode" for any reason, the sound would be lost. To restore, I had to turn off the Silent Mode OFF on the iPad then save the sound settings in thenSmart Race APP to restore the sound.
