Here is the way I race a solo championship with 24 cars on the Scalextric Arc Pro base. 24 races with 6 cars for each race. Every car runs 1race on each controller. Controllers 1 to 3 are controlled by the player, controllers 4 to 6 are ghost cars.
Each race is 15 minutes long. The first "segment" goes with car 1 (me) and car 4 (ghost). After 5 minutes and the announcement (10 minutes to go) I stop the race and continue with car 2 and 5. The same happens when there is only 5 minutes to go and after a stop, I finish the race with car 3 against car 6 (ghost).
As each car runs on the 6 different controllers, you have something fair after 24 races.
Of course, only laps are relevant since car 1 and car 2 have the advantage in case of running the same number of laps.
It would be great if there could be an automatic stop after each segment (10 minutes and 5 minutes left) and if we can have a more fair timing (times counted after 5 minutes for car 2 and 5).
